This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Hi,
I'd like to build a persistent cache that is instantiated when the =
Apache server starts and it should stay in memory as long as the server =
is running. This cache should be readable to other CGI scripts such as =
C/C++/Perl etc. It seems that DSO is the answer to all of this; =
however, I haven't found any examples that demonstrate what I'd like to =
do. Could any of you outline the procedure? Thank you very much.
PS: I did take a look at mod_example.c, but it looked like a forest to =
me. In addition, I did try to follow the instructions on Apache page to =
load the mod_example.so but it didn't work somehow.
