Suggestions for CDR Software

We used to use 'cdrecord' with 'mkisofs' at work.  That ran fine on a
heavily loaded (low spec) P90 box; we never made one coaster.

You can tie cdrecord in with a number of CD drive, as long as there is
appropriate kernel support (SCSI should be ok, IDE needs the SCSI
emulation parts of the kernel).

Xcdroast and one of the gnome cdrecording programs will call cdrecord
and mkisofs too so you can have a nice configurable GUI.
