DHCP server

Howdy all

I'm trying to run the dhcpd server to assign ip addresses. The clients
(linux and win95) are not getting assigned ip's. When i run the server in
debug mode and started up the client there were no messages so the client
isn't actually getting through. I'm running ipchains and ip masquerading,
would this effect it (i couldn't find anything in the docs).

anybody know what could be happening?
