Well, I have a Panasonic (Mitsui) 20x Read 8x Write scsi burner. (Model 7503
from memory).
It seems to work quite well - only coasters I have made have been the 3 I
foolishly attempted to burn under windows, and a couple when I buggered up
the kernel config for my scsi card (sheepish grin).

A good, cheap reliable drive. (Doesn't do ReWriting though)
