RE: Font Server Not Serving!

Hi Daryl,

After receiving your answer (which fixes my problem because I now know how
to connect to it) I found the following link regarding xfs on Redhat 6.0
which may be of interest:

Thanks again.
Paula

By default, RedHat (6.1, but this may apply to 6.0) doesn't run the
fontserver on an internet socket, but a unix domain socket instead.
There are additional flags you can pass to the font server to get
it to attach to a traditional socket.

This confirms it - the socket is living on the Unix file system.

	Try:

	    fsinfo -server unix/:-1
