ISDN can't achieve 128k

Hi,

On the advice of a couple of list members, I've bought a Traverse
Technologies NetJet card for our office ISDN Link. The card seems to be
working fine, and was simple to configure in Linux, but it seems I've got a
problem with achieving 128k connections through it. The machine is a RedHat
6.1 box, running a standard kernel, etc.

I'm using the scripts from the Traverse web site to establish a connection,
and I've made the necessary changes to the dialisdn script. After I run
"dialisdn start", the imontty program shows both channels in use. However,
I can't ping anything on the other side of the ISDN link. After about a
minute, imontty shows the second channel as off, and I can then ping hosts
on the other side of the ISDN link again.

So, basically, when connected at 128k, no data flows across the link, but
once it drops back to 64k all is well (albeit at half the speed I'd like to
get). I've got a permanent connection through Telstra Internet, and my ISDN
Service is an "OnRamp 2" service.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 Jim.
