Re: Where would you like to be misled today?

On the subject of MS failings etc., I'm very gratified that
my predictions of their demise this year before
Christmas are coming true - on the stock market anyway.

E.g. see

http://iqc.go2net.com/cgi-bin/c?time=day&period=120&i0=1&chart=Bar&chart1=MA&w=600&i1=0&i2=0&i3=0&s=Linear&symbol=msft

This shows MS shares going from US$90 in November up to
US$115 in January, and now down to US$75.

Considering the significance that share price has in the
US public mind, this is very bad for the morale of MS.

http://iqc.go2net.com/cgi-bin/c?time=day&period=120&i0=1&chart=bar&chart1=MA&w=600&i1=0&i2=0&i3=0&s=linear&symbol=rhat

The above link for Red Hat doesn't look much better though....

Meanwhile, United Natural Foods is going well:

Moral of story: Don't buy shares in software!

At least Cisco doesn't fall precipitously.
They've got hardware!

Cheers,
Alan Kennington.
