Ummm.... neither of these cards have a TORX (optical spdif) output.
The SQ1500 has a Coax SPDIF out, im not sure about the Live! Value.
You can get converters fairly cheaply that convert from Coax to TORX.

Although I have the Aureal SQ2500, and love it... the SQ1500 would not be
the best card to buy at this time.
If you havnt heard... Aureal have gone bankrupt, so its doubtful that there
will be many more driver releases :( :(
