The SAMG (http://yi.org/samg) had a presentation a few months ago on a
Radar Environment Simulator system by Mr. Agu Pepela of CAE MRad Pty. Ltd.
(http://www.chariot.net.au/~southoz/samg/CAEMrad.htm).

Agu was involved in the development of the software and hardware for the
PCI interface http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/LDP/tlk/dd/pci.html writing Linux
device drivers http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/LDP/tlk/dd/drivers.html.

I don't know of any books but I'm sure Agu does. I could contact him if
you like.
