The Gurus amoung us can provide much more information on MIPS, but it is
a measure of "milions of instructions per second", but better known as
"meaningless indicator of processor speed". Its a way of comparing how
fast one processor is compared to another, but not realy one computer to
another as many other factors affect a computer's speed.
