printing

I'm having some trouble setting up printing in Redhat 6.1

When I'm setting it up it comes up with the following
	
	Autodetection found the following
	/dev/lp0 not detected
	/dev/lp1 not detected
	/dev/lp2 not detected

If I manually put in /dev/lp0 the print queue says it's waiting for the
printer to come online.

Everything is connected properly and working in Win98.
