I ran this on my RH 6.0 box:

rock:~>ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           14 Jun 24  1999
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 -> libXpm.so.4.10
rock:~>rpm -qf /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4.10
xpm-3.4j-5

so i guess the package you need is xpm :)
