Internet Swansmart 56k connection
Please help!!
I have tried everything that I know how. I have copied the init strings
from the windows log file to Linux and have set up the connection as I
believe it should should be..
But the connection keeps stalling (connection reset by peer) under Linux
and works fine under Windoze..
I can ping servers but not much else after it stalls..
I have got no idea what could be wrong..
I will try to contact the modem manufacturer, which will probably
achieve nothing.. Primus has offered no assistance too.. Are there any
Linux friendly ISPs out there that actually have linux setup support?
This is driving me mad.. I really don't want to use Windoze again if I
can help it..
Any suggestions very welcome!
Ian
