DMail for NT conversion to Sendmail for Linux

Hi All

I've got kind of a big job coming up for myself whereby I need to transfer 
my mail server from DMail on NT to Sendmail on Linux.

I guess what I'm after is some helpful tips...

DMail has these things called "drop" files for every user, which are in 
plain text format and I was thinking of simply copying them to the 
equivalent user files in /var/spool/mail, but I'm not even certain that 
this would work!

It's absolutely vital that I don't lose any of the e-mails too.

I would really appreciate some tips and/or tricks for doing this as 
seamlessly as possible...
