linux server (/home/user problem)

howdy,
after playing more with this server using samba, i found that when each user
logs in, they can only brows their directory when using network
neighborhood. However, if they use windows explorer, they can see previously
logged in users home directories. Is this a caching thing for windows or am
i still missing something?

i don't have the [HOME] section here to show you right now.

also while i am here, why doesnt unmount /mnt/cdrom (for example work when i
am root or not?

Cheers,
Andrew,
