<off topic> Solaris not LinuxTry typing openwin. startx is (I think) =
peculiar to XFree86.=20
Check that $OPENWINHOME is defined as this points to where the binaries =
are stored.
Hope this works.
Rob.

Subject: <off topic> Solaris not Linux
How can I check to see if X is installed on Solaris and if so how to =
start it.=20
This machine has an XAccell.ini in /etc, but I am stumbling trying to =
start X. There is no nice startx commands.=20
I thought of maybe rebooting in a different run level, but the =
"states" as they are referred to in Solaris, don't seem to match Linux =
run levels.
