RE: [OT] modems

Thanks to all those who replied. Unfortunatly, my spare modem died also, so
I had no way of checking my e-mail until I bought a new modem :(

I ended up getting the same type of modem as my 'normal' modem (the one
which broke first, and is currently being repaired). It's a Banksia WaveSP
56. I had it for a year being used up as dial up, then about 8 months ago, I
got the permanent connection, and it's been going for about that long
non-stop, until it broke. I just hope that it was that modem which gave up
and not a design flaw, otherwise I'll be sending another modem to be
repaired in 12 months :(
