qt

I'm trying to install kicq but it keeps defaulting to qt-2.0.1 instead
of qt-1.44 and because q-t1.44 was used when kde was installed it wants
to use that.

There is a variable QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-2.0.1 does anyone know where I can
set this variable permanently to qt-1.44.
