Re: Book Recommendations?!?
Craig,
The BEST book I have EVER bought was a linux book entitled:
Linux in a Nutshell (2nd Ed) by Oreilly & Assoc ... it has basically
everything you would want to know :
- command dictionary
- shell dictionary
- pattern matching
- emacs use
- vi use
- ex use
- sed use
- languages refs like : perl, gawk, rcs cvs
- booting methods
- system administration
Its the most brilliant quick reference book i have ever seen. Everything is
in a logical laid out manner and tables, dotpoints and alphabetical ordering
are used efficiently.
This book will set you back by about $20.
