I couldn't find one (not even hints of a project to develop one) when I
searched extensively a few months back (although I was specifically
searching for a Java2 compiler -- earlier ones may exist). In fact, I don't
think I even found a payware one for Linux -- they exist for Windows, but
were expensive and didn't look like they'd help what we wanted...
