Good Morning /Afternoon/Night all,
I have 2 questions"
(1). I am using IPMasqurading and I was just wondering if it is possible
to
create an icon on the desktop of the Windows Box that can dial up
through
the Linux Box.
Currently I have to telnet from my windows box to the linux box
and
use ifup.
I personally don't mind doing this but I'm trying to set the
machine up for someone
who isn't that familiar with computers.
Is this possible? If so can you point me in the right direction
as to learn how to do this.
(2). If I telnet from my Windows machine to my Linux machine I can't use
the host name.
ie I have to telnet using the IP address. However, telnetting
from the Linux Machine to the Windows
machine using the host name rather than the IP address works
fine.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to get the
host names working.
Thanks All :-)
