The problem was not having the appropriate server, and not knowing
exactly what the hardware was/is.. (r128 - even though it was being
detected as a Mach64)
Solution.. download newest SVGA server.
There is still a problem in that fonts get messed up (pixilated) unless
acceleration is turned off (which is then very annoying)...
There is an additional annoyance with Redhat in that it has both
/etc/X11/X -> ../../usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_SVGA (for example)
/usr/X11R6/bin/X -> Xwrapper
xinit,startx use the first..
Typing 'X' will give you the second.
Is there any sensible explaination for this?
