Samba 2.0.x, Domain controlling and group policies

Does anybody know much about how Samba deals with NT groups, as I want
an NT domain controller (well samba actually), but I need to know how it
will treat the Windows groups for group Policies. The sooner we don't
run NT, the better.

Also, anyone done anything that involves NIS and windows accounts
working together?
