Re: compiler missing

Hi Adam,
    I am not sure that I have the skills to fix it either,
but I could probably have a look at it sometime next week,
(I have an operating systems exam on Saturday for Uni
( ). In the mean time, why don't you try to do an upgrade
of the system with a RH6.0 disk. I had problems when I
accidentally deleted something important, and so someone
suggested it to me. It leaves all of your config files
intact, and apparently scans for all the stuff that is
missing, and asks you if you want to install it. If not, a
thought that comes to mind as I read this is (silly question
maybe) is the compiler really there but just not in your
path? Let me know if you need me to come have a look by
private E-Mail. Good Luck!
    Cheers!
        Andrew.
