Hardware supplier required
Greetings all...
I need to fing a new hardware supplier as my old one has decided to go
the 'total solutions' route and is no longer happy to supply the bits
and pieces that I need...
2x 9 Gb SCSI Harddrive (currently using IBM)
2x Removable HDD Caddie (SCSI, Metal)
Spare Powersupply fans, preferably with fail detection
The 'short' story:
A fan failed in an external SCSI enclosure housing two 9 GB
harddrives. This caused the drives to overheat and give intermittant
SCSI failures, as well as melt the currently installed plastic cadies
(and turn them a light shade of brown in places). One drive has
survived, the other is a little less certain. As the unit is part of
an IBM AIX system which has to be delivered to a customer, I need to
find some replacements.
All help/suggestions welcome.
