Samba PDC & Win2K
Hi...
Using the faq: http://au2.samba.org/samba/docs/ntdom_faq/page2.html
I have set up a linux box (RH6.0, 2.2.12, samba 2.0.5a) to be a PDC for a
few Win2K RC1 machines on a small LAN.
For some reason though, the win2k machines wont recognise the PDC.
Eg... when i try to change to the domain win2k says "the specified domain
does not exist or could not be contacted".
Anyone know what could cause this problem???
BTW... besides this prob... samba and the LAN work fine.
Using the samba tcpdump patch I get this output after trying to set win2k to
use the PDC:
