2.2 driver howtos?

It's probably been said before, but since apparently the list is "Too
quiet" for some peoples liking, I'll ask:

Where can I get a good set of instructions on writing Linux device
drivers, that is UP TO DATE on Kernel 2.2 and 2.3?
