Partition "Manager"??
A while ago (I cant find the post!) someone asked whether there was a
"Partition Manager" app for linux... dont know if this is what they were
after; found it on freshmeat today:-
you can download it from: http://apps.freshmeat.net/download/937790960/
I like the comment that reads "This program can destroy data, and is not
yet safe for general use" ;)
GNU parted 0.0.3
Andrew Clausen - September 27th 1999, 17:19 EST
GNU parted allows you to create, destroy, resize and copy partitions.
It currently
supports ext2 and fat (fat16 and fat32) filesystems and linux swap
devices, and
MS-DOS disklabels. This program can destroy data, and is not yet safe
for general use.
Changes: Added linux-swap support, fixed problem with large hard
disks and
implemented better error handling for ext2.
Urgency: medium
