Clearly, I was a little terse in my request.

What I want is a tool that can be put into scripts to automatically
partition a disk according to a prescription.

Ie, create a 1GB partition of type 6, a 120M partition of type 82, and the
rest in a partition of type 83.

Actually, what I really want is libpart, a partitioning library, with the
following entry points:

   part_delete
   part_create
   part_change
   part_get_info
   part_copy

and a few others.
