there's a couple of things i have done to get samba working with NT.
1. i'm not sure about recent versions of samba, but the version i have,
i had to set a registry key in NT to enable plain text passwords. i
can't find the registry hack right now but it's on the net somewhere and
easily found.
2. try changing your password on the linux box. i've found that
sometimes changing your password gets it all up and running again. i
just havent spent enough time on figuring out *why* i had to do it. it
just worked.
