[UNIMPORTANT] 3000th day of linux
Topic: Missed linux demo day.
Now that we've pretty much missed linux demo day,
the 8-year anniversary of linux, supposedly 17 September,
when version 0.01 of the kernel was apparently issued,
there's another anniversary coming up:
4th December 1999 may be the 3000th day of linux!
My rough calculations indicate that 3000 days after
17 September 1991 must be Saturday 4 December 1999.
If so, this may be a date worth setting up an
open day on, especially because it is just 3 weeks
before Christmas.
Just an idle thought in passing.....
Cheers,
Alan Kennington.
