Why am I locked out?

Hi all,

I have a couple of problems with the KDE desktop environment in Suse 6.0
and would like some help please.

	Firstly, I cannot open my cdrom drawer to load CDs (including audio:
kscd) in KDE. I don't have this problem with the other desktop options
available to me.

	Secondly,when I first open the KDE desktop I get as many as 3 to 5
instances of Kscd.


Are there files I can edit to get control of these processes and what
editing would be required.?

Any assistance would be much appreciated
