Re: Exchange Server

Hi Guys,
Correct me if I am wrong but, is all you want to do is
be notified when mail comes in? If so, there is an X utility
around, I don't know if it is standard or not, that I use at
Uni, or used to but they blindly upgraded the mail server to
NT apparently. It is called xbiff. It is basically an icon
of a mailbox that checks your mail every N minutes, I
believe it defaults to 10 but it is user customisable, and
if you have mail, it then beeps, raises the mail in flag on
the mailbox, and changes colour. Some versions are mapped so
that if you double click them they will raise you mail
client, most often at Uni at the time xmh, but I had seen
others. This is much less annoying than you mail client
being autoraised when you get mail in the middle of a Quake
Deathmatch. Have a look around for it as it comes in very
handy.
    Cheers!
        Andrew.
