Yes... the other day I reinstalled win95 on an empty disk. I don't have
a floppy disk drive. The CD isn't bootable. What I did was to fire up
linux, and then copy the entire cd through /mnt/cdrom onto /mnt/dos. I
then booted dos and installed windows.
Windows then, as a sign of appreciation to linux, overwrote the MBR.
Literally 1 hour into my first windows session, it blue screened, trying
to open an otherwise fine CD.
It was the first total system lock I've seen, after six months of
exclusively using Linux...
