I think he is referring to Exchange server which does not (generally
although it can) interact with Exchange client or MS LOOKOUT via SMTP or
POP3 but uses M$ own method which (I think) uses RPC's.

		That is what these programs do anyway. The server doesn't
know where you
		physically are, from one moment to the next. Exchange
clients have a
		setting, Check for Mail every 2 minutes and another Popup a
message, do
		nothing type of thing.

		So the answers is, get you POP program to check for mail
every couple of
		minutes.
