SB live?

Hi,

I was thinking to buy a Sound Blaster Live (audio card), but acording to
the hardware compatability howto, it is unsupported!

Does this mean that the card wouldn't work at all?

isn't is possible to use an 'older' card's driver (such as the SB 16's)?
Old DOS games that only support SB Pros work on my SB 16 (although the
Live has 3D sound, which I guess could cause a problem).

Does anyone know of any pages that say how to get this card working, if
the 'official' kernel doesn't have a driver that works?
