Well you can use `su -` (see `man su` for information on the '-' login
shell/ variable unset switch)
But what would be easier is putting /sbin and /usr/sbin (which is all
you're missing) into your path. Get into the habit of doing things
properly now, you'll appreciate it later.
Your answer is `su`. I'm sure making root a vaid account on the virtual
terminals is not hard, but it promotes a really bad habit.

Damn, I'm going to tell you aren't I. I'd start with `man securetty`. If
you don't know what the terminal name is then do a `w`. See I gave in. I
would really like you not to do that though. :o)
