Did you install Lilo ? ( I am not running RH6.0, so I am not sure)

Sorry, I tried it first, but I actaully did atl-ctrl F1 then alt-F2 to
get to an unused terminal. Just tried ctr-alt-f2 and it worked !?!
(RH5.2 KDE)

I dont think so as the alt-ctr Fx sequence just swaps between virtual
terminals, which all have a log in sequence ( alt-F7 is where the x
server runs... )

If you are not going to loose anything important, it cant hurt .
When I ran windows, I used to reload more often that I ever have with
linux (so far only on hard drive crash and replacement, next time will
be when I upgrade my poor old P133)
