Hello all,

Good news! thanks to Benjamin Close, I realised why a --rebuild of a gnat
source wouldn't finish, so I manually copied all the needed files to their
'correct' places, and now I have a working version of gnat :) The only
'problem' is I can't un-install easily, since I copied the files (not a
rpm install or upgrade), but since gnat works, does that matter? :)

I'd just like to thank everyone that replied and helped me get a working
version of gnat
