Newbie/Pro list

Linux works so well because of its support.

Spliting the list is pointless. How do we distingish a newbie from a pro.
I consider myself still a newbie even after 6 years, yet I answer many Q
on this list (I fit the 'pro' section on this list).

Someone asked how to use more/less.
They got flamed saying read the HOWTOS!
What if they wanted to know how to use more/less to view the howtos?
(not everyone installs X)

The question on networking/pppd was redhat specific - I don't know of a
howto that would have helped fix it. Infact most howto's don't address
redhat specific stuff.

The solution is leave the list alone.
Newbies & pros often ask stupid questions - LIVE WITH IT!

Cheers,
