It only happens when I connect with Linux. I know Linux will handle a very
fast connection otherwise why would places like SeNet use it to provide
their internet connections.

I'm afraid to say that in comparison to Windows, my Linux goes along at a
snail pace. I have no idea what's wrong with it.
