RH 6.0 vs old-style thinking

Howdy folks,

I have to admit it, after three years of toying around with Slackware
and recently TurboLinux, I have finally been converted to Redhat. I
bought the 2 CD burn-on-demand set (thanks Tique and Geoffrey) and set
up the old box in a trice. As you can see, I got connected back onto the
net. Darn near everything is working *almost* straight out of the box.

Could someone with a sense of humour and a little patience tell me what
I *should* have done to set up my ppp connection using the supplied
tools??? :)))) As you will notice, I am connecting now, but I did so
using the hack background info I brought from Slackware. I just *know*
there are redhat tools that I should have used, and I am darned if I can
figure out how to use them.

By the way I just love Gnome/enlightenment, even more than I loved KDE.

Anyhow full marks to RH for RH 6.0, and full marks to Netcraft for the
super-speedy service.

Woo Hoo

Bruce
