Hi Prashanth,
generally speaking if the chipset is supported it will work.
Check out the Linuxsa mail archive for more informaiton as this subject
has come up a lot in the last couple of months.....
To see if your chipset is supported in the latets X-server check out the
xfree86 website..  www.xfree86.org I believe...
