LOST INSIDE GLIB 1.2.0
To all
While trying to install gtk+-1.2.0 I get
checking for glib-config... /usr/local/bin/glib-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.0... no

ETC ETC
I tried above instructions but to no avail
My system says
[root@cisco gtk+-1.2.0]# glib-config --version
1.2.0
I have followed instructions and removed prev version.
This is my path
[root@cisco gtk+-1.2.0]# $PATH
bash: /usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr:/usr/X11R6/bin: No such file or
directory
glib-1.2.0 is now in /usr/bin (tried many)
glib-1.2.0 is a directory - this confuses me - I would like it to be a
file. The previous version was glib- 1.0.6-3, a file.
Have had similar problems while trying to configure other programs eg
wmakerconf-1.6 (add on package for WindowMaker) that asks for
glib-1.0.2.
Any help appreciated
Brian Marr.
