named messages

Hi,

I was looking through my /var/log/messages file again, for anything
interesting, and I found that over half of the file was named messages. I
thought it would be a good idea to make those messages appear somewhere else
instead.

I tried adding the following lines to /etc/syslog.conf, but none worked:
named.* /var/log/named
*.named /var/log/named
domain.* /var/log/named
*.domain /var/log/named

The error messages were unknown priority name for the two *.blah entries and
unknown facility name for the two blah.* entries.

does anyone know what to put in syslog.conf, or another way to move those
messages?

thanks,
Andy
