Proxy.pac file

hi..
I have spent a great deal of time trying to get a proxy.pac file going with
multiple pops with each pop having it's own proxy.  The Idea is one
proxy.pac file for the whole system.  I've looked at a lot of diff pages,
but I still don't seem to be getting anywhere.
If anyone has had experience with this sort of pac file could you please
e-mail off list.
