lpd question...
Hi all,
Being new to linux, I would like some help with getting lpd to load at
boot.
I have installed Caldera open linux 1.3 and no real problems...but
When it installed and asked me to configure the printer, I dutifully did
so.
But when I boot linux, the messages include "Disabled by LISA - bigFS
samba etc,etc, including lpd.
So now I have to type lpd on a command line to enable printing to my
printer which works great...
But it would be better if it was loaded at boot.
I have read man pages and HOW-TO's , but I can find no references to
making lpd load at boot.
Any suggestions?
Thanks...
