Hiya TC,
I find it easier using a .fetchmailrc for root.
Here is mine that works for multiple users locally.
set syslog
set postmaster "mail"
set daemon 600
poll mail.senet.com.au with proto POP3
localdomains Bytes4u.nodomain.yet # place you domain here
localdomains senet.com.au # place you isps domain
user "benjsc" there with password "putpasshere" is * here
The '* here' is the part you are after, it tells fetchmail to break it up
again.
Putting your isp's domian means that things that are all in the one isp
mailbox are assumed to also belong to your domain and also are broken up
nicely.
I personally prefer all non direct mail, such as mailinglists go to an
arbitary user (mail) then I can use procmail to sort them nicely.
Cheers,
