Hi Steve,
The problem is that inetd is invoking tcpd to do a reverse lookup on
the connecting IP address before it starts in.telnetd (see
/etc/inetd.conf), but if your nameserver is not contactable or takes a
long time in finding the answer, then it will take a long time to
connect.

Could you please disable the sending of HTML emails to the LinuxSA
