I have never had this problem at all.
I use Notepad, write and word quite allot and have never had any problems with
using them under emacs, netscape, dos edit/qbasic at all.
One strange thing is that composer instead of using <br> is uses the funny &
followed by a couple of other letters.
I have never used Outlook or FrontPage, i think FrontPage is EVIL!!!!! I have
never had a reason to use outlook at all.
